It was printed at the Kelmscott Press, Upper Mall, Hammersmith, in the county of Middlesex, & finished on the first day of April, 1897. The borders and ornaments were designed entirely by William Morris, except the initial words Whilom & Empty, which were completed from his unfinished designs by R. Catterson-Smith.
